Fueling

Smiths fuel sender now fitted, sealed with Hylomar and then after that I ran a line of hi-temp silicone just to make sure.

Modifying the ECU loom...... not my cup of tea but roll your sleeves up and get in there!

Throttle bodies now have home fabricated blanks fitted to the original injector ports as theyre not needed with my ST170 inlet manifold, quite tidy I think...

Drive out in Dingers Zero

A day off today and spent in brilliant company. I went off to meet the Hertfordshire club and finally meet Dinger whos already helped me a lot on line. His Zero with an ST170 in it is amazing and has really spurred me on to get mine done. I'd been told he likes going sideways and its true!! A great day, cheers Dave..

Thats a camera on the front and heres the footage!! Thanks again Dave...

Back pannel & Bonnet

I trial fitted the back panel today so I could see exactly whats involved (Ive heard dramas from other builders) In essence its not too much of a drama now but I had I not had advice from other people that have done it before I can see how easy it would be to get it wrong. Cheers lads!

The bonnet catches have been fitted after careful consideration on all measurements. I didnt want to start drilling the bonnet/side panels and get it wrong but after a little applied mathemematics its come out perfectly!!

I also had to check, check and check again before I marked out this massive hole that needs cutting out for the bonnet vent. Ive left it overnight to check again before going in with the jigsaw.

OK, the stripes are made of insulation tape but Im just trying a visual concept......
